A Doctor’s Life

My niece is visiting from Manchester. She just completed medical school. Yesterday, she mentioned about now beginning to look for a job in a reputable hospital. My Tryst With Hard Drive Recovery

You may have noticed that the site has been postless (if there is such a word) for the past few days. And you may well ask why and where I had been. Well I was right here, only veering between anxiety and despair, and relief and elation. Anxiety and despair happened when my hard drive crashed. Everyone please take note, this can happen to any and I mean any of us! Relief and elation came when I realized that all was not lost and that help is at hand!

It is an incredible relief to realize that your data, work, photos, music, videos and all the things that you so painstakingly collected and collated is all safe and that your hard drive repair is possible. (It felt like I had felt when I lost my iPod at the mall and went back 4 hours later to find it safe and sound!)

One more interesting feature is their blog, which is littered with terms such as Slave a Laptop Hard drive to USB, RAID configuration and Parity Check, and MFT Data Recovery, all of which are rather Greek and Latin to me, but I have resolved that through regular reading of their Data Recovery Resources, I shall transform my tech challenged self into a veritable techno-geek! A worthy ambition methinks.
