So I went about looking for good deals on rings that would take my breath away. This particular site for engagement rings caught my fancy. Not that I know much about diamonds, except that they are every woman’s best friend! Luckily they have a section that educates novices like me about the finer nuances of buying diamonds sensibly.

While receiving the one above would be highly desirable, since I am looking to buy one for myself, I think I should consider other kinds of rings too. Now this Tonino Lamborghini watch (date watch with genuine diamonds) that retails about two thousand three hundred and sixty bucks, got auctioned off for just $202. Pretty good deal that, I thought.

Now this Versace watch (ceramic and stainless steel for women; certificate available) has a retail price of $1,639 and the winning bid for $261 however the watch did not get sold because the reserve price was not met.

This Chanel scarf did not look like much (to me that is), but this little scrap of silk is supposed to retail for $386 (really beats me how people can pay that kind of money for something like that). However when you look at the price that the buyer ended up paying for it in the end, then that makes a little more sense – it sold for $51 which is an 88% discount on the original retail. (I could do better things with the fifty bucks but then that’s just me)

Jewelry is also sold on this site, so that this Novarese and Sannazzaro chain and pendant in gold and diamonds, which retails for $4,789 was sold at a 91% discount at $470.

On this site you have designer brands from Bally, Chanel, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Prada and Yves Saint Laurent to a bunch of other high end brands as well. You have a choice from among sunglasses, jewelry, watches and so on to accessories such as broaches, photo frames, cuff links, and a bunch of other stuff that I can cheerfully live without, but again that’s just me. For the brand and label conscious, I would say this is a great opportunity to get things at amazing discounts.

Silver earrings or a silver ring would be a very appropriate for someone turning 25 (silver jubilee, 25 years get it?). Overstock has some beautiful designs on sale here, and I loved this Silver Filigree ring at 52% off for $23.99. The sales page has plenty of really pretty designs of rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, bracelets etc. Really worth a look see.

Now I really think that a strand of pearls with some matching pearl studs can totally elevate an outfit. They can add a touch of class, sophistication, instantly make the outfit more formal. I liked these (18 inch) black pearls for $149. Overstocks’ discounts page for pearl jewelry is also worth checking out for stuff such as these freshwater pearls with the cameo clasp for 83.99.

Sometimes you get great stuff on Amazon, such as these crystal earrings for $75, which you have the option of adding to a wedding registry or a baby registry.

Now if you want to get a gift that is both substantial and funky enough to interest a teen, think ankle bracelets. This 14K Gold Enamel Ladybug Anklet is rather dear even at a discounted price of 297.75 but it would make a beautiful and valuable gift for someone turning 18.

Now if there is a new baby in the family, a new mother would really appreciate this 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Mother and Baby Necklace which is available for $104.99.

So go ahead and get an impressive gift to give someone. And there is no reason why you should not treat yourself to some of these goodies yourself too!

They have a great collection of inspired jewelry. Inspired from top brands like tiffany, Bvlgari, Cartier, Chanel, Chopard and even Heidi Klum amongst others. The prices are approximately a third of the originals. So now you can wear the latest designer pieces without spending a fortune.

Their collection of designer inspired watches was not very impresive. Mostly because even though they imitate the design, the brand name is different.

They also have a section for inspired bags. I am not much of a bag person. So maybe someone else can have a look and tell me what they think about it.

The collection of jewelry is truly remarkable. The pieces look just like the originals. I ordered a pendant, 2 pairs of earrings and a bracelet. They should be here soon. If they are how I hope them to be, I am surely shopping a lot more.
