It is top list time again, peeps and this time it has to do with Geeky Billionaires – something that should tell you not to knock the nerds that you know – they may grow up to be Bill Gates! Seriously though, it seems as though the oft made prophecy, The Geek shall Inherit the Earth has come true, and it is the Geeks that currently rule – as evidenced by Exec Digital’s assessment of the Five Most Influential Geeks on Earth and those on the list are –
Bill Gates – Microsoft Corporation. Arguably the one person who has changed the way we work, communicate, use technology. He started Microsoft in 1975 and launched Windows in 1985 and has never looked back after that. There isn’t a home or office today that doesn’t have some reliance on this global behemoth Microsoft, that has made Gates the owner of a $52 billion fortune, a lot of which, it must be said, he seems intent on giving away.
