Furniture Discounts
I know that Amish made furniture is not cheap, but when you look at the fact that it is built to last, and never seems to go out of style, it does make a lot of sense to buy. Especially if there is a sale on! I came across this site that has up to 33% off on their items of furniture and I found a lot of stuff there which I really liked:
This bedroom set includes a queen size contemporary bed, a dresser with mirror and a chest of drawers that is admittedly very steep at upward of $5000, but they do offer a hefty $1,176 discount, so that it is yours for $3,918. Yes I know, still not cheap; but if you are looking to make a life time investment in your furniture, then this is the sort of thing that you may just want to consider.
Another item that I liked very much on this site is this sliding love seat. Again, not cheap (retail price $1139 and available for the discounted prices of $876) but it is a beautiful and unusual piece of furniture, I can just envision long, cozy, intimate hours spent on the love seat with my significant other, perhaps having a drink, perhaps curled up with a good movie; perhaps just having a chat about this that and the other!
They also have a lot of very beautiful dining sets, including not just dining tables and chairs, but also others items like side boards, hutches, servers, etc. in all the different styles that the Amish are so famous for: Quaker, Shaker, Mission, Victoria etc., all again very expensive, but at a one third discount these may just fit into one’s budget.
I love beautiful linen and bedroom accessories; so I found one more interesting thing on the site: if you make a purchase of above $500, you automatically entitle yourself to a $100 discount on quilts from here. Expensive stuff, no doubt, but beautiful, if you are of a mind to be extravagant!
I like the dining set very much. So beautiful and stylish. The room is rather spacy and cosy without no impression of being overloaded.

i wish i could afford a new amish furniture set but i buy everything used, even used amish furniture is expensive, it is nice quality though and the designs look good

I LOVE that love seat – I WANT one!!!
I have a single glider that we bought when I was pregnant with our first child. A double would be awesome (especially now that they’re getting too big to rock on my lap!). Oh, and for me and DH too of course.

I agree with Lightning. The loveseat is amazing. Simple design on the upholstery but looks like a nice fabric.

That Amish bed room set looks really sturdy and your right when it says its built to last. It isnt cheap but it does look like a good investment.

You are absolutely correct about the Amish built furniture. It is not cheap but it will last a very long time. Most of these pieces are heilroom quality. I have bought some myself and expect my children to use it too.
