I haven’t seen Scion xB, but by the looks of it, it looks to be a pretty good bargain compared to it’s size. I maybe wrong though since pictures don’t always tell a true story.

Subaru Impreza on other hand is the perfect car to go for if you had to chose the best in these 5.

Do lookout for the Tata Nano, an Indian car. I think the design has been finalized. Small car and it may cost only $2500 USD!

Those are some good prices! I would have to agree that fuel economy has become such an important factor in the buying decision. Just look at how sales of SUV’s and trucks have literally died.

I’m not sure about everywhere, but around me the Honda Fits are all so popular they’re near impossible to get. The few that ever show up used have been getting snapped up immediately and for barely any depreciation whatsoever. Can’t say I really understand why, I think the Toyota equivalent, the Matrix I believe, is a much better car for a similar price

I was reading an article the other day, that suggested that smaller cars may not necessarily be the greenest choice these days. Statistically speaking, bigger cars last longer. They hold up better in accidents, are engineered stronger, and insurance companies are less likely to write them off. Factoring in the manufacturing carbon footprint, means buying more small cars may not be as environmentally friendly as we thought.
