Watches: Discounts and Novelties
Recently my fav wristwatch finally died on me and the strange thing is I am not really missing it because the cell phone is my watch as well as my alarm clock now. Having said that, I miss the physical presence of an attractive watch on my wrist so I decided to look up online offers for wristwatches.
Watches gate is a site which has a dizzying array of really inexpensive options here, all for under $10! I was struck by this watch for under two bucks which claims to include a calculator as well! How long will that last I thought to myself, but even if it works for a couple of months, it’s still cheap at 2 bucks! And here is the irony of the cheap wristwatch: the watch itself is $2 and the shipping is $5! I have to admit, I found quite a few of the watches very tempting at those ridiculous prices!
I tend to go in for things that are one thing but also another, like the torch cum pen or the keychain cum compass etc. So I liked the idea of an MP4 watch (a lot of options here). I have to warn you that I have no idea about the sound quality of these watches, but this one is for under fifty dollars and at that price I could be persuaded to find out.
Other novelty watches include the ring watch, the necklace watch and the keychain watch. I actually thought this keychain watch in the shape of an owl ($4.99) was rather cute, just the sort of interesting thing to get for your little child who is learning how to tell time!
I also liked this heart shaped necklace watch for $7.99. They also have a whole range of pocket watches for under $5!
Ok that is just one site I covered, perhaps I will look up others too and if I find worthwhile deals I’ll be sure to pass them on to you!
See for me, a watch is one thing I don’t want to have a super good deal for. I want to collect these bad boys (when and if I start making some money…). But for now, my collection is 2 and they were both gifts.

I too love a couple of really good branded ones. But I equally enjoy wearing the quirky inexpensive variety that look really different.

I have a swatch worth 789$ on ebay.
Expensive watches are stylish even if the model is not pleasing once you have it in your hand you know you have something worth 800$.

I had a calculator watch when I was in grade school so this brings back good memories. The MP4 watch reminds me of the watches in Dick Tracy. I always wanted on of those, and now with the advent of awesome cell phones I don’t need one. But thanks for bringing back great memories.

I gave up wearing watches years back. Time comes from the computer or from the cell phone when I’m outside. But after reading your post, and looking at all these watches, I realize I do miss a watch.

i know someone else too who never wears a watch, and I always thought he was missing out on wearing some great stuff. I guess a couple of good ones for occasional wear is a good idea.

I have really small wrists and cannot stand to wear a watch because of the way it slides around. If some watch maker would solve this problem they would do well since I know I am not the only one with this problem.

This reminds me of china town. They do have lots of watches under $10 and the design are awesome. I bought some of it and its still working fine.

A watch that costs 2$ and a watch that costs 100 bucks, what is the main difference? if you think well maybe they will work the ame way and they will give the same time. But if you are somewhat stylish and you have the money you will go for a 100 bucks one. But for me the price doesnt matters. if i get the time then its ok. i can afford a 100 bucks watch but i dont want to spend my money on something that i can pay cheap with the same functions and use.

I like the wristwatches with heart shape,they are really very novelty. it is very interesting to find that more and more designera are excennent for their richful thought.
